But there is more than just a train platform and adjacent hotel in this photo. The climate generated color composition, caught by the artist, is arresting. And, of course, the tilted perspective instills the photo with a sudden dynamic brought on by the clouds which now seem to propel the scene below rather than underline its timeless peacefulness. I think that Yolanda is a very talented photographer – I have previously praised her black-and-white compositions – who may consider next steps in promoting her art.
