Creative screaming reminds me of the era of ”primal screaming”, popularized by someone–I’ll remember the person later– in the 1960s and 1970s. Maybe Rollo May? I’ll look it up. Anyway, my rooster Speckles’ crow gives me a chance to practice imitating him.
I looked up Primal Screaming, which I recall from the 1970s. Indeed, Arthur Janov, whose book The Primal Scream, was published in 1970, and was an international bestseller. Janov went on the lecture circuit, spoke in Europe and the US, and wrote many books later. He died in October of 2017 in Malibu, CA.
