The street light wiring, the angle of the buildings, and the fact that the lion looks like it’s gliding over the sidewalk put me in mind of the movie, Dr. Strange where in the Mirror Dimension, the buildings in New York City are constantly warping and folding, creating a kaleidoscopic effect. This is because the Mirror Dimension is a parallel dimension where space and landscapes are distorted.
